Last week i left the engine ready to be taken out. I have an excellent engine hoist so moving that into place, it was a simple matter of putting two nylon ropes around the engine and lifting it out.
with my car removing the engine is really easy as there is no front to get in the way. 10 minutes later the engine was hanging in the air.
i have place the engine on a pallet, as i need to do work on the gearbox. sadly after inspecting the gearbox casing it has cracked in the same place as my last gearbox.
This means i need to find a new gearbox case before i can continue, simple enough, it is just going to cost me some money.
Any way for now i am done , will think about replacing the fly wheel as well as there are some damaged teeth, but that depends on the cost.
